Seamora Privacy Policy
Seamora, for iPhone, iPad and Android. Last updated 16 October 2026.
Seamora is a photo, collage and video editor. Your videos, photos and projects are edited and stored on your device. We don't have accounts, and we don't ask for your name, email or phone number. This policy explains the few cases where data leaves your device, who receives it, and the choices you have.
What stays on your device
- Videos, photos, music and projects you import or make, and everything you export.
- Editing features that run on the phone: filters, effects, background removal, green screen, auto reframe, beat sync, voice effects and text.
- Settings, AI-music credits you see in the app, and the counters used to decide when to ask for a rating.
Deleting the app deletes all of this.
When data leaves your device

Ads, tracking and your choices
- On iPhone, Seamora asks for permission before using your advertising identifier (App Tracking Transparency). If you say no, ads are not personalised with it.
- In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland, and in US states with privacy laws, Seamora shows Google's consent form before ads or analytics use your data. You can change your choice any time in Settings › Privacy choices.
- Seamora Pro removes ads entirely.
- Photos access is used only to import media you pick and to save your exports. Microphone access is used only to record a voiceover when you tap Record.
Content you use
Only edit and share content you own or have permission to use. Music from the free library keeps its licence; Seamora shows the credit line a licence asks for.
Children
Seamora is not directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect data from them.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR, UK GDPR or California law), you can ask to access, correct or delete personal data, object to processing, or withdraw consent. Because we don't have accounts, most data never reaches us. For data held by Google (ads and analytics), Apple or Google Play, you can also use their own privacy tools. To make a request or ask a question, email us. We answer within 30 days.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top and, for important changes, tell you in the app.
